InterInnov (represented by Ms. Caroline Bedran) was selected to participate to a Business Tour organized by the European project DragonStar Plus, in the context of the 2016 China High-Tech Fair (CHTF) held in Shenzhen on November 16-21, 2016. DragonStar Plus is a H2020 project funded by the European Commission, aiming to facilitate policy dialogue and bilateral collaboration between EU and China.
Each year, CHTF is co-hosted in Shenzhen by Ministries and Commissions of the national government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. Currently, it is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair in China and is renowned as “the No. 1 Technology Show in China”. Latest editions gathered nearly 3.000 exhibitors from more than 50 counties and over 500.000 visitors attended.
CHTF focuses on advanced technologies and products in fields like energy, environment, information technologies, biology, manufacture of high-end equipment, materials, etc.
In this context, InterInnov was selected by the Dragon STAR PLUS project to represent the 5G-PPP and particularly European SMEs with skills and expertise in 5G, as well as FIWARE Mundus, the FIWARE activities dedicated to international cooperation on Future Internet.
InterInnov took this opportunity to represent and disseminate information about EXCITING: EU-China Study on IoT and 5G project. This was done particularly towards several representatives of the EU in China, who quoted the project during two presentations on November 17 in the context of a seminar on EU-China cooperation on ICT and green technologies.
More information was also distributed to those EU officials, including the first brochure about EXCITING project, so that they can relay more widely the information after the event. All those contacts expressed their interest and willingness to help EXCITING project as much as needed. Through the booth hosted by DragonStar at the exhibition, the first brochure of EXCITING was also widely distributed there.
